Good news – Snop is out! 🙌
The best ideas – like prompts for coding agents – rarely arrive when you're sitting at your desk.
They turn up when you're outside, on a walk, in the mountains or on the Tube, where there might be no reception.
You lose them because fiddling around with Notes, Reminders, Notion and the rest is just too irritating, and you think: “Oh well, I'll remember that.”
But you don't.
And that small, irritating gap is why we built Snop.
The whole app in two steps
Snop has one job: get an idea or a prompt out of your head wherever it arrives, then put it in front of you when you're ready to use it.
1. Capture it on your iPhone
Open Snop and type your prompt, use the widget, run a Shortcut or say it to Siri. Add it to a project if it belongs to one, or leave it loose and organise it later.
Snop works offline, so a poor signal on a train or no signal halfway up a fell is not a problem. Capture the thought and carry on with whatever you were doing.
2. Use it on your Mac
When you sit down at your Mac, the prompt is waiting for you. Open Snop, copy it and paste it into Conductor, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or whichever AI tool you're using.
Once you copy a prompt, Snop marks it as used. That small detail means your prompt list does not become another inbox you have to tidy. The things you've acted on move out of the way; the ideas still waiting remain visible.

Why not just use Notes?
You absolutely can. We did for years.
But Notes tends to become a landfill. Reminders turns every half-formed idea into an obligation. Messaging yourself is wonderfully fast until you need to find one particular thought three days later among the links, photos and other messages.
None of those tools are bad. They simply have broader jobs. Snop is made for this one journey.
Small on purpose
There are no Snop accounts and no registration. Your prompts synchronise between your devices through your private iCloud using CloudKit. They are not stored in a database we control, used for advertising or used to train AI.
