Terms of Service
The terms governing your use of Snop, including subscriptions, synchronisation and your content.
Effective 20 July 2026 · Last updated 25 July 2026
1. TL;DR
Snop helps you capture, organise and reuse prompts across Apple devices. You own what you put into it. Snop stores content locally and synchronises it through your private iCloud using CloudKit. There is no Snop account.
- Keep copies of anything important. iCloud synchronisation is not an independent backup.
- Use Snop lawfully. Do not misuse the app, violate other people’s rights or bypass paid features.
- The annual subscription renews until cancelled. The UK price is £9.99 per year; Apple shows the final local price before purchase.
- Copied prompts leave Snop’s control. The terms and privacy practices of the tool into which you paste them then apply.
- Generated titles are labels, not advice. Review and edit them where needed.
2. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Snop application, subscriptions and related services. By downloading, purchasing or using Snop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Snop. Snop is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Your licence is also subject to Apple’s Standard EULA and applicable Apple Media Services terms. These Terms supplement those Apple terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is processed.
3. Eligibility
If you are under the age at which you can enter into a binding contract where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf and approve your use of Snop and any purchase. If you use Snop for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these Terms. You need a compatible Apple device and Apple Account and must follow Apple’s applicable terms.
4. What Snop provides
Snop is a native Apple productivity app for capturing, organising, editing, synchronising, copying and reusing prompts. Features may include projects, Siri and Shortcuts integration, iCloud synchronisation, on-device title generation and paid functionality. Snop is built with Swift and SwiftUI for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Core features work offline. Cross-device synchronisation uses CloudKit and the Apple Account configured on your device. No Snop account, email registration or separate password is required. Features may depend on the device, operating-system version, Apple Intelligence availability, internet connection, iCloud settings, storage allowance or App Store availability. Not every feature is available on every device or in every region. Snop is not designed for emergency, medical, legal, financial or other safety-critical use. You remain responsible for reviewing prompts and any output produced by tools in which you use them.
5. Your licence
Snop is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms and Apple’s Standard EULA, you may use it for personal purposes or internal business purposes on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as Apple’s Usage Rules permit. Unless the law or an open-source licence expressly allows it, you must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense or reverse-engineer Snop; remove ownership notices; make it available as a hosted service; bypass subscriptions or technical restrictions; or imply endorsement by Creative Crow without permission.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of prompts, titles, project names and other content you create in Snop. Snop stores this content locally and, when enabled and available, synchronises it through the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. Creative Crow does not operate a separate hosted prompt database and does not claim ownership of your content. Apple processes iCloud data under its own terms. Creative Crow cannot guarantee that iCloud will always be available or that content can always be recovered. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights needed to create, store, copy and use it. Do not use Snop to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights; store unlawful material; breach obligations to an employer or client; or create or distribute malicious software or unlawful instructions. Avoid storing passwords, private keys, API credentials or other secrets. Snop is not a secrets manager.
7. On-device AI features
On supported devices, Snop may use Apple’s on-device Foundation Models framework to suggest short titles. Prompt content is not sent to Creative Crow or a third-party AI provider for this feature. Generated titles may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing and editing them. We do not guarantee that they are unique, accurate or free from third-party claims.
8. External tools and Apple services
When you paste, dictate, share or otherwise provide a prompt to an AI agent, coding assistant, employer system or another service, that service controls its subsequent processing. Its terms, privacy policy and security practices apply. Snop relies on Apple services including iCloud, CloudKit, the App Store, Siri, Shortcuts and dictation. These services operate under Apple’s terms and may change, be interrupted or become unavailable. RevenueCat validates purchases and manages subscription entitlements. PostHog provides optional pseudonymous product analytics after a user enables analytics. Snop does not use PostHog person profiles, identity linkage, session replay, advertising or cross-app tracking. Neither service receives prompt text, titles, project names or clipboard contents from Snop. Production use is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Snop unlawfully;
- interfere with, damage or overload Snop or services it relies on;
- gain unauthorised access to another person’s device, data or subscription;
- introduce malware or facilitate harmful or fraudulent activity;
- manipulate purchase records or falsely claim subscription entitlements;
- probe, scrape or abuse Snop or its supporting services; or
- help another person do any of these things.
Nothing here prevents activity that applicable law expressly permits.
10. Subscription and paid features
Snop offers an auto-renewable annual subscription that unlocks all features. The current UK price is £9.99 per year. Apple displays the final local price, currency, billing period and any introductory offer before you confirm a purchase. Unless the purchase screen states otherwise:
- the subscription renews automatically each year until cancelled;
- Apple charges the payment method linked to your Apple Account;
- you must cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge;
- deleting Snop does not cancel the subscription;
- access to paid features may end if payment fails, the subscription expires or the entitlement cannot be verified; and
- no free trial applies unless the App Store purchase screen expressly offers one.
Prices may change. Apple will provide any notice or consent flow required. We may change features in future subscription offerings, but will not remove paid access expressly promised for the current billing period unless necessary for security, law or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
11. Cancellation, refunds and restoration
Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Creative Crow cannot directly cancel an App Store subscription or issue an App Store refund. Apple handles refund requests under its rules and applicable consumer law. Requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com. Use Restore Purchases in Snop where available. Restoration requires the Apple Account associated with the purchase and may depend on Apple and, if used, RevenueCat. Nothing here limits statutory consumer rights.
12. Storage, synchronisation and backups
Content is stored on your devices and synchronised through your private iCloud when enabled. Removing Snop from one device does not necessarily delete content from iCloud or other devices. Synchronisation is not an independent backup. Changes and deletions may propagate. Software defects, device loss, iCloud problems, account issues, service outages or user error may cause content to be lost or unavailable. Keep separate copies of important prompts. Because Creative Crow does not operate a hosted prompt database, we may be unable to retrieve, export or restore content held only on devices and in private iCloud storage. Cancelling the subscription does not itself delete content. The app should preserve access needed to manage or export existing content, subject to the behaviour described at purchase.
13. Updates and availability
We may release App Store updates to fix problems, improve Snop, add or remove features, maintain compatibility or protect security. Some updates may be required for continued use or subscription verification. We aim to provide Snop with reasonable care and skill but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free service or compatibility with every future device or operating-system version. We may suspend or discontinue part or all of Snop. If a paid feature is discontinued before the end of a current subscription period, we will honour the remaining period where reasonably possible or work with Apple on an appropriate remedy, subject to law.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Snop at any time but remain responsible for cancelling an active subscription through Apple. We may suspend paid features or terminate your licence if you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms; a purchase is fraudulent, refunded or cannot be verified; action is needed to protect Snop or others; law or Apple requires it; or Snop is discontinued. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct a breach. Serious misuse, fraud or security threats may lead to immediate action.
15. Intellectual property and feedback
Snop’s software, design, branding, documentation and related materials belong to Creative Crow or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it to improve Snop without payment or obligation. This does not transfer ownership of your prompts.
16. Consumer rights and warranties
Consumers have mandatory legal rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes them. In the UK, this includes applicable rights relating to digital content and services being as described, of satisfactory quality, fit for a disclosed purpose and provided with reasonable care and skill. Except for rights that cannot be excluded, Snop is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that Snop will meet every need, generated titles will be accurate or Apple and other services will operate without interruption or data loss.
17. Liability
Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or liability that cannot legally be limited. For consumers, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill, but not unforeseeable loss, avoidable loss caused by ignoring reasonable instructions or business loss arising from consumer use. For business use, to the extent permitted by law, Creative Crow is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, revenue, business, savings, goodwill, opportunity or data. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of £50 and the amount paid for Snop in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
18. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and explains processing relating to iCloud synchronisation, subscriptions, optional analytics and support.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Snop, Apple requirements, providers, business needs or law. We will update the date above and provide reasonable notice of material changes. If you disagree, stop using Snop and cancel before the next renewal. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights already accrued.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers retain mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in any court permitted by applicable consumer law. For business use, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Contact support@creativecrow.io first so we can try to resolve a problem informally.
21. Apple-specific terms
You and Creative Crow acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Creative Crow, not Apple; Creative Crow is responsible for Snop, support and product claims; Apple has no support obligation; applicable third-party terms must be followed; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the licence terms; and Creative Crow is responsible for addressing applicable intellectual-property claims concerning Snop. You represent that you are not in a region subject to a United States Government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism and are not on a prohibited or restricted-party list.
