All good stories start with a beginning

Every app starts with someone being mildly irritated by the same thing over and over again. Snop is no exception.

The irritation goes like this. You're halfway up a hill, or three stops from home, or waiting for the kettle, and you think of exactly the right thing to ask an AI. A prompt that would save you an hour tomorrow. It's specific, it's good, and it is entirely made of air.

By the time you sit down at your Mac, it's gone. What's left is the vague shape of it – you know you had an idea about the empty state, but not the sentence that made it worth having.

The gap nobody fills

We tried the usual places. Notes turns into a landfill. Reminders wants everything to be a task. Messaging yourself works right up until you need to find it again three days later.

None of them are bad apps. They're just not built for this particular journey: from a thought you have while moving, to a tool you use while sitting still.

What we're building

Snop is small on purpose. Say a prompt to Siri, run a Shortcut, or type it into the app – whatever gets it out of your head fastest. It syncs. It's waiting on your Mac when you get there. You copy it, and Snop remembers that you did.
